Let’s Get This Party Started!

So, maybe it’s about time I started posting something that I’m actually creating. This might not be very fancy, but at least it’s something, right?

This here, my friends, goes by the name: Twinky Pillow. To know more about Twinky, my Moonling, you can meet him here.. It’s so simple I almost didn’t bother posting it. This is your basic ribbing, one row knit and one row purl with double yarn. As you might have noticed, it’s bubblegum colours!!

I’m not really a big fan of knitting, as I find it to slow and to dull for other purposes than mental meditation. But I was bored and eager to get something done quickly, so with size 7 pins and double yarn it’s at an acceptable speed. It’s supposed to end up as a pillow cover for my ‘snuggle’ pillow. I’m not making any promises as to when it’s supposed to be done, because i might grow tired of knitting long before I’m nearing the end. But stop by every now and then and I might just surprise both you and me and post a picture of a finished pillow before the end of summer!
